Your projects.
In the conversation.

Bring your project context into ChatGPT. Review tasks, plan next steps, and save updates to MCPBinder with permissions you choose.

Set up the ChatGPT connection

The directory listing is not available yet. You can connect through ChatGPT’s custom MCP setup where your plan and workspace allow it.

Connect once. Choose what ChatGPT can do.

  1. Follow the setup guide to add MCPBinder as a custom connection.
  2. Sign in to MCPBinder and choose your workspace, projects, permissions, and expiry.
  3. Start with a read: “Summarize the goals and open tasks in my launch project.”

ChatGPT receives only the work allowed by your connection. Task changes use the same permission checks and revision history as changes made in MCPBinder.

Pick up where the work left off.

  • “Read the project context and help me choose the next task.”
  • “Add a task to review the launch brief.”
  • “Show the recent changes to this project.”

Creating or editing tasks requires write access. Task changes can trigger workspace notifications and webhooks configured by your team. File and provider actions require a separately connected account and explicit permission.

Keep control of your connection.

Reduce or revoke access in Agent access in MCPBinder. Expanding access requires new consent. Revoking access stops future tool calls; it cannot remove data already returned to a conversation.
