Before you start
Both actions are in Account → Security → Sessions & privacy, and both need a passkey or authenticator. If you don’t have one, add it under Security methods first. You’ll confirm it’s you if your last check was more than 10 minutes ago.
Download your personal data
Under Personal data, select Download personal data for a JSON file with your profile, linked sign-in providers, memberships, the agent access you granted, your policy history, and your feedback requests. Security history downloads separately.
The export leaves out shared workspace content, credentials, and recovery codes. A copy of a workspace’s shared content needs the owner’s authorization; contact support.
Delete your account
- Make sure each workspace you own has another owner. Offer ownership in Settings → People & roles; it takes effect when the member accepts.
- Under Delete your account, select Schedule account deletion and confirm.
- Deletion runs after seven days. Until then, select Cancel account deletion to keep your account.
What’s removed and what stays
Deletion removes your profile, sign-in methods, sessions, passkeys, authenticator, and provider credentials. It revokes your agents’ access, removes your memberships, pauses your recurring tasks and file rules, and deletes your feedback requests.
Shared work keeps an anonymous account reference, and names or content you wrote into it may remain. A security review can delay deletion; the page shows when that happens. To close a whole workspace, contact support.
