Add the MCP address in your app
Use this address in any app that supports remote MCP over HTTP with OAuth, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor, or VS Code. You can also copy it from Settings → Agent access in your workspace.
No API key is needed. The app signs in to your MCPBinder account; it doesn’t use your AI subscription as a credential, and being signed in to MCPBinder in your browser doesn’t give an app access on its own.

- ChatGPT on the web: create a custom app from Settings → Apps → Create, enable Developer mode if prompted, enter the address, and choose OAuth. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
- Claude: add a custom connector with the address.
- Codex and other clients: add the address in the client’s MCP settings and choose OAuth if asked.
Sign in and choose access
- Sign in to MCPBinder when the app opens it. If you don’t have a workspace yet, you’ll create one and return to the connection.
- Choose the workspace. Each connection covers one workspace, and the same app can have separate connections to others.
- Under Projects, choose All projects, which includes projects created later, or Only specific projects.
- Review the Permissions. Everything the app requested is preselected, so uncheck anything you don’t want. If it asks for file permissions, choose the accounts it may use under Accounts.
- Access lasts until you revoke it. To set an end date, open Advanced settings.
- Select Review access, check the summary, then select Connect.
Check the connection
Ask the agent to read the context of a project you allowed and confirm it’s the right workspace. The connection now appears in Settings → Agent access with its projects, accounts, and permissions.
The consent screen labels the app Verified, Local app on this computer, or Unverified app, and shows where approval returns. If you see “This connection request expired,” start the connection again from your app.
