Set it once.
Each run gets its own task.

Create a task on chosen days at a set time, with an optional email reminder. Each run is a separate task, so completion history stays intact.

Create a recurring task

Open a project’s Settings tab, or in your workspace open Settings → Automations → Recurring tasks, and choose New recurring task. Each recurring task belongs to a project.

  1. Enter the Task title and an optional Description, and choose the project.
  2. Set the Timezone. It starts with your device’s timezone; a named zone such as America/New_York follows daylight saving.
  3. Choose the Time and the Days it should run.
  4. Choose what happens If a run is missed.
  5. Keep Email me when each task becomes due checked for a reminder, then select Save recurring task.

How runs work

  • MCPBinder checks schedules every five minutes, so a task can appear a few minutes after its time.
  • Each task is due on the run’s date in the schedule’s timezone.
  • After missed runs, Create only the latest occurrence adds one task, Catch up every occurrence adds one per run, and Skip occurrences missed by more than 15 minutes skips late runs.
  • Reminders go to the verified email of the person who created the schedule.
  • Use Pause and Resume in the list. Agents with permission to manage recurring tasks and reminders can change schedules too.

If a schedule paused or a task didn’t appear

A schedule pauses itself when whoever created it loses access to the project, when the project is archived, or when the workspace reaches its plan’s task limit. Fix the cause, then select Resume.

MCPBinder doesn’t start a conversation in your agent’s chat. An agent sees new tasks when it next reads your work, or sooner if it supports MCP Events and is watching task events, shown under Watching in Agent access.
